What cookies Roamly uses

Roamly uses two essential cookies. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics cookies, and no tracking pixels.

CookiePurposeDuration
SessionKeeps you signed in between page loads and browser sessionsUntil you sign out or the session expires
CSRF tokenProtects your account against cross-site request forgery attacksSession
02

Why these cookies are necessary

Without the session cookie, you would be signed out every time you navigate to a new page. Without the CSRF token, your account would be vulnerable to a class of attack that lets other websites perform actions on your behalf without your knowledge.

Both cookies are required for Roamly to function correctly and securely. They do not track you across other websites and do not contain personal information beyond what is needed to maintain your authenticated session.

03

What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, third-party analytics cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any other cookie not listed above. No cookie set by Roamly is shared with an advertising network.

04

Managing cookies in your browser

You can view, block, and delete cookies from your browser settings. Deleting the session cookie will sign you out of Roamly. Blocking essential cookies will prevent Roamly from working correctly.

Chrome: go to Settings, then Privacy and security, then Cookies and other site data. Firefox: go to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data. Safari: go to Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.

05

Changes

If we change which cookies Roamly uses, we will update the date at the top of this page. We do not plan to add non-essential cookies.
